Pipeline
Solutions Mortgage Services Interface
The
Pipeline Solution's Services menu provides a way for you to interface
with other systems. A Service consists of a file export or import event
and an optional delivery event. For example, you can design a service to
export a file in the FannieMae DO/DU format and then deliver that file
to a wholesale lender via the Internet or Email.
From the Pipeline Solutions
desktop, select the Services option from the Main Menu.

The system will display the
Services Wizard dialog. This screen provides options for managing
services. From this screen you can launch a service, edit the service
properties and add or delete a service.

Creating a New Service
To create a new service, select
the Services option from the Main Menu and click on the Add
button. The system will display a blank Service Properties sheet where
you will enter the various options for the Service you are designing.
Refer to the previous section to learn more about properties and options
of a Service.

The Properties of a Service
Service Properties contain the
detailed settings or parameters that tell the system what to do when the
Service is run. For example, you may want the Service to export a loan
file in a particular format and then Email that file to an Internet Mail
recipient. In the Service Properties you can define the export file
type, Email address, subject line and message text.
To inspect or edit the Properties
of a Service, select an entry in the list of Services and click on the Properties
button. The system will then display the Service Properties
dialog.
